Well James Rodriguez probably cemented his place as 'player with the most enhanced reputation' out of this WC.

In his quest to avoid giving players like Neymar a yellow card that would rule them out of one match, he's ended the poor lad's tournament.  neu worthy

He's also the same referee who refused to give that savage Diego Godin a second yellow card for elbowing Studge when he was through on goal.

Not sure how James feels about this, getting kicked off the park by these guys and then having them console him at the end after they're victorious. think

Interviewer: These two players where the main characters in a fair play scene.

David Luiz: I just told him that the champions are not the ones that hold the trophies, and that he can go home being a champion. He has brought great things to soccer, he has brought (sighs) an incredible magic, great goals, great matches and he can go home with his head held hight because he is already a world champion because all of what he's done in the world cup.

James: Well, thank you... (Gets interrupted by David Luiz)

David Luiz: And I wanted his shirt

Interviewer: You asked for his shirt?

David Luiz: He didn't want to give it to me.

James: As I said earlier, players like him and Dani Alves who come to talk to me, its something that cheers me up and I want to personally thank him.

Interviewer: It was a beautiful moment of what we always strive for that is fair play

James: Yes, fair play. I think that people like him are an example for world soccer

David Luiz: We always have to think that its not just for soccer but also for life. Kids want to have our haircuts and stuff, but they should also aspire to be great human beings and great people.

Interviewer: One more thing. Would you get his hair cut?

James: Yes, why not? just Like pibe Valderrama.

Interviewer: Congratulations on your fair play

    Just copied some guy's translation.

He just wanted to take his shirt off and cuddle, there is no need to fabricate this elaborate story of sportsmanship to do that. We can all appreciate the need for a shirtless cuddle every now and then.

The real reason James was crying was because he had to swap shirts with David Luiz when he really wanted Neymar.

It doesn't really matter who is in defense as long as the GOAT starts in attack.

Messi has been excellent during this tournament. It's a shame he's playing with a group of largely untalented players or else he'd be even better.

Di Maria has been disappointing, Higuain has only performed well today, Aguero has been injured and only played in that ridiculous system in the early stages, and the other players really aren't very good.

Kompany should have been sent off for that challenge on Lavezzi earlier, horrific.
