The reason I bring this up is because I have just learned of this rule. Zamalek had 2 players snub a call up for the Olympic team because of injury but played for Zamalek less than 5 days later. Zamalek beat Masry 1-0 and now Masry is appealing the game because of this ruling.
Now my question is what if a player has a minor injury or illness that takes less than 5 days to recover from? Shouldn't he be allowed to play for his club?
