The signing of Ozil won't propel Arsenal forward at all, imo. The weaknesses are still there and haven't been tended to. You had RVP at his best and couldn't challenge for the title. You've effectively replaced one world class player with another.

Well I couldn't really care, big deal we didn't sign Demba Ba. I'm sure we can survive until January.
Ofcourse it will, one of our weaknesses was a lack of creativity, signing Ozil to start over Rosicky is an obvious improvement. Man United weren't weak upfront when they signed Van Persie last year and it still massively improved them.

It didn't massively improve United. They won the League at a canter due to how poor City were.
