My bad, auto correct let me down Embarassed

Taxi Driver shits on pretty much ever acting performance ever delivered by humans and it certainly shits on Elba and his entire family.

rofl  He made his name in a glorified porn film.

I would take any one of Gazza Oldman, Big Driis, or Matt Damon over him.

Lol, I guess Shame isn't as good as Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance or The Unborn. Fassbender already proved that he's the superior actor by giving a much better performance than Elba in Prometheus.

You joke mf? What could Elba do with that character? He had nothing to work with. The android on the other hand, had a few layers of a personality.

It was a slightly underwritten character but he could have still made him memorable. All I remember from that performance was the abysmal accent.

You are right, it is automatically inferior due to its disgusting, revolting explicitness. Besides, not even Big Driis can carry Nicolas Cage. Rolling Eyes

rofl Your opinion means nothing. I also like how you completely neglected to bring Gary OldLAD and Matt Damon in because they are both a step above Michael "every performance a miniature car crash" Fenderbender.

That was a horrific film. As far as I'm concerned, everyone went down with the ship. Fassbender included.

Glen has made a good point, Elba is choosing the morally righteous path to stardom rather than whoring himself out in the name of 'art'.

Oldman's probably the best actor currently working right now so no shame in being slightly inferior to him. And Oldman thinks very highly of Fassbender anyway:

When I ask Oldman if he might have some tips for the young Fassbender and the Hollywood machine of which he’s been a part for 20 years, his eyes twinkle. “I don’t think he needs any advice from me. I think he’s the bollocks. The real deal."

As for Matt Damon then you just can't be serious. rofl  Fassbender's probably displayed a larger variety in his characters in the past three years than Damon has in his entire career.

I don't buy into that quote, you can see the journalist has put a spin on it with his inherent bias.

Gary Oldman once called Idris Elba "the Moses of his generation," but the article was removed by the anti-Elba/pro-Fenderbender regime. facepalm

Damon is a slightly worse actor but his entire personality is superior-astute, witty, quick of thought-all qualities his rivals cannot boast.

    Tom Hanks is acceptably comparable.
