I've always thought for the amount of time and effort it must take, is it really worth it? And I agree, my favourite type of nails on girls are those clear ones with a shiny pearl white top bit, they look nice.

NYE with my parents, drinking good wine (yay for that one), eating a good homecooked dinner (another yay), watching the fireworks (meh) and then watching the rerun of Royal Variety that is on every New Years eve here.

Not exactly ideal, but not too shabby.

I suppose they probably do it more for their own entertainment and admiration from other girls than for guys.

I was gonna go down a few pubs and bars here, and then back to my mate's for the countdown and some more beers. But a lad I would have been going with is having problems with his bird who will be at that mate's house so we aren't going there any more, will probably just stay in one of the pubs then come away fairly early. Most of my mates have gone over to Manchester anyway so for this year I don't mind heading home at 1ish and feeling fresh for the footy on NYD.

I think NYE is a bit overrated anyway. Boxing day will probably end up being a better night this year.

Yeah I agree, plus there's the fact I have to be up for the football NYD then I'm back at work the day after so I'll be feeling shocking. Laughing

It's always too busy to get served, prices suddenly shoot up and getting taxi's is impossible. Another problem for me is that I have a few different mate groups and I'm always getting asked to be in several places at once so it's always awkward trying to choose.

All I've got to drink tomorrow is Disaronno and coke. I can't bring myself to pay out for anymore alcohol. Spent just under £100 last night in town on what was meant to be a 'quiet night' for me Laughing

Tell me about it, it seems that all I've spent my money on in the past few weeks has been alcohol, food and Leeds tickets/transport. I haven't been to town to buy any clothes or anything, although I am gonna head in tomorrow to look for a shirt for the evening.

Sounds good. I'm not sure what I will end up doing. Probably go to town and have pre-drinks, but then I will have to leave because I'm not 18 yet. Might go to the other town close to the beach, there is usually a "RAVE" thing going on there.

It's tacky when they have loads of colours and gluey shit everywhere.

You need nice hands too, girl from work has nie hands and has like a white tip at the end then a small brown spiral on each one, looks classy.

Anything more looks tacky.
