I only picked one school for the Common App, so I did not have too hard a time.

I never said he wasn't good. Anyone can add something to a film, but did he add anything to acting? I'm not talking Orson Welles in Citizen Kane, but I just think it would be a good career choice to go for a film that is all about the performance. Besides, Jose are the only times I really appreciate acting, when you challenge yourself, or take on a challenging role. Another actor could have played his part, can ou name me someone wo could have played these roles the same?

Malcolm McDowell - A Clockwork Orange
Edward Norton - American History X
    Ellen Page - Juno
    Joaquin Phoenix - The Master

Flms like those, ones that you can say really were made by the acting, the Social Network was not.

What do you mean he didn't add anything to acting? How many performances can you say that about? Not very many. A performance like Ellen Page's in Juno didn't add anything to acting either, but it was still a very good performance in which the actress showed plenty of emotional range. He had a role to serve in the film and he did it flawlessly. He was charismatic and vulnerable and the film would not have worked without him. Sure, it's not on par with some of those you mentioned (I still haven't seen The Master Sad ), those roles involved entire physical and emotional transformations and that simply wasn't needed with his character, but it was still, in my eyes, a very good performance. I hope he does try to take more challenging roles as his career progresses but so far he's done well in most of the stuff he's been in.

Christian bale comes to mind for American History x, i think we can argue that he could of done a better job than norton. No hate tho, Norton da gawd.

Masterpiece of a film. Novel is great also.

His career would never live up to such a performance, every time I see him it is something to do with A Clockwork Orange.

Just making out I guess. I was really offended though. One of the girls I got with was with her mate, a lad. He came over and told her to stop getting with me as I looked like I was full of STD's Neutral

Give it a go. I have virtually never gotten with anyone on the one occasion, only really for an extended period, so I couldn't really judge the difference. Still, she may turn out to be a bit needy.
