Pretty sure you won't like it. Most of the movie is people sitting around tables and talking.

Still have to write an essay for the Common App. I've put it off for months now. Deadline is New Year's Day.

Pretty basic actor.
I think the twins in the film are just one person, I that makes sense.
I usually hate when singers/rappers cross into film, but Justin Timberlake was pretty good.

Which essay? The extracurricular activity that changed your life, or the moment in life that changed your life?SBSP wrote:Still have to write an essay for the Common App. I've put it off for months now. Deadline is New Year's Day.

Plays fairly straight forward roles. I thought the same of Bradd Pitt until I watched Inglourious Basterds.

I wouldn't call his roles in The Social Network or Never Let Me Go straightforward. Besides, he hasn't made that many films. It's a shame he's attached to the Spiderman franchise now. He should be making much better films.

It isn't challenging though. He was great in it, but what did he really do in the film that stood out? He is young, he will make great acting films, it isn't just because of Spider-Man.

Peter Travers of Rolling Stone had this to say about his performance:
Note to Oscar: You need to step up big time for Garfield, who plays Eduardo with a vulnerability that raises the emotional stakes in a movie that is built on ice cool, a fact reflected in the haunting visuals achieved digitally by gifted cinematographer Jeff Cronenweth and the hypnotic musical road map laid out by Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross. Was Mark jealous that the Harvard final club that rejected him accepted Eduardo? Keep your eyes on Garfield — he's shatteringly good, the soul of a film that might otherwise be without one.

Don't his role as Eduardo was Oscar worthy but he has talent.

Very dialogue heavy, but the way the material is presented is captivating. Say some negative reactions about the personality of the characters but I personally had no problem with them. You won't be watching it for the imagery. Looks like a low budget movie made in the 80's on that front.
Glen didn't copy my avatar. I was assimilated into the consciousness of Zlatanism. It will take a while for me to recover my own ava-dentity.
Oh, and that spiderman dude has the acting range of a log.
