People forget he's only 22, and could hardly speak a word of English I don't think when he first joined United

I think his English was pretty good if i remember rightly(well for someone non English coming from another country anyway)

Not been on here for so long but im ecstatic De Gea played so well against Madrid what a boost of confidence, also Phil Jones was excellent in my opinion. Was so pleased with the overall result. Yes I realise its late but I haven't been on here in so long cut me some slack

Let's forget the fact he's scored something like 10 goals in his last 11 games and just focus on an average, and defensive performance against Madrid. Moron.

Danny, don't take this the wrong way. But your posting style when you talk about football is kinda irritating. To me a good chunk of your posts seem to be something along the lines of:

Anyways back to the reason I came in here for. I was working on FIFA's creation center(I'm creating Mexico's 2nd division) and while looking up the weights, heights ect of players I stumbled onto some news that flew right over my head last month.

Jurge Damm was on trial with Manchester United and apparently it was a successful one. I don't know if nothing never materialized from it or even if it was false but still odd that news like this would go under the radar with me. I'm usually pounce like a cat when it comes to Mexican players in Europe rumors.

Well how else am I going to put it across?

If he'd took his time and actually had a think before writing his column maybe he wouldn't come to the absurd conclusion where he's basically saying that Rooney's finished.

You don't need to put it across. Just think to yourself, "that's a rather misinformed opinion." And move on to another article or scroll up your twitter feed.

For example, I'm not positive it was you but most likely it was you who made a tread about some random guy I've never heard off saying Bale was better than Ronaldo or something along those lines. I'd like to think that most people would disagree with that opinion and I'd assume that you'd think that too. So it becomes completely unnecessary to make a, "look this guy's opinion is wrong!" thread. We all know the guy is wrong. The only thing you accomplish by trying to ridicule the guy is giving the guy attention. Which if the guy is smart enough to become a journalist or somebody who gets paid for stating his views or opinions than he's probably smart enough to know that saying something completely asinine is a smart way to trick people into reading his blog or article or whatever, in other words he's smart enough to know something like that will give him attention. Which then makes you, the usually intelligent young man, nothing but putty in his hands.

But again, this is not a dig or me picking on you or anything, just something I think is worthy of contemplating.

Was a bit touch and go at the end there. Thought Nani was excellent and showed that he should be starting more and made much more of an impact as opposed to Valencia of late.

Probably the fact that everyone says we always get easy draws yet this season we've managed to draw 5/5 Premier League teams in the 2 cups (probably 6 after Chelsea win their 5th round tie), and Madrid in Europe too. That might be what we "complain" about.

I think you will find that all draws are random. Therefore, you are just as paranoid as the people claiming that United always get an easy draw.

My friend, you were quite clearly suggesting that Manchester United always gets the hard draws. If anything, your Champions League draw was one of the easier draws.

Seen as the group stages are seeded you really should get a fairly routine group- especially if you're seeded top.

Turns out we'd probably have been better off finishing 2nd in it.

Yes he was excellent when he came on and showed what he can do. He needs to be doing it consistently.

Completely changed the game and won it for us almost single handedly. If he could perform like this then he would be one of the first names on the team sheet.

Lets just see how he goes in the next game, He deserves a starting spot.
