Gerrard on Sneijder: "I'd love nothing better than to see him in a Liverpool shirt"
"I think Sneijder would be excellent for Liverpool. If wages can be sorted out it is a possibility."
Looks like we are really looking in to him then. Pressure on FSG if the captain wants a player.

I missed the game as well.
From the highlights it seems as though Henderson had a really good game.
Also what position did Suarez play in? Did he have to do much defending?
Played behind Sturridge, Norwich hardly went forward so he didn't have to do much defensively.

Gerrard - Lucas

He's not going to say you wouldn't like him...is he. Do you honestly see Sneijder at Liverpool when you aren't in the Champions league and wont finish 4th this season?

Not really, however he has said he wants to play in the Premier League, he would rather play here than Gala if he got the wages he wants. We are obviously trying to sign him if we've got Gerrard talking about him and Rodgers like that. Whether we'll get him, I doubt it, but who knows.

I honestly think he'll end up at Spurs. I'm not sure the full details or if things have changed but if you wouldn't cough up the money for Dempsey, what makes you think You will get Sneijder after you've just bought Sturridge.?

We've had an £8m bid rejected for Coutinho, which shows we've still got money. I don't think we'll get Sneijder though, I think it'll come down to him rejecting our wages.

WES SNEIJDER’S chances of a Liverpool move rest on him taking a pay cut of up to £100,000 a WEEK.
^^ QPR could probably pay him what he wants.

Why would he want to go to a mid table side like Liverpool?

8th is not mid table.
I was talking about 5th, as it's where Liverpool will finish this season. No matter where they finish, it'll be ahead of Everton.

8th is mid table albeit the top half of mid table.
Liverpool will finish 5th? What is this going by...

8th is not just 'mid table', it's mid table superiority.

The quality of football they play, and the type of players they're beginning to attract.

Hmm, I'd say 5th or 6th was top table inferiority, but you're close.
For me, it's something like this

Sneijder has agreed to move to Galatasaray, glad we can put those rumours to bed.

1. Manchester United
2. Manchester City
3. Chelsea
4. Tottenham
5. Arsenal
6. Everton
7. Liverpool
We'll finish at 'Mid Table Superiority' then. Unless Michu carries Swansea for the next few months.
