I really do hope this "obsession" you have with Julia is an act. I do 37 hours+ a week and only get 23 days a year . Goes upto 27 after 5 years service, doubt ill be here that long. I work in HR at my council. Used to be an apprentice, got a secondment as an Assistant in June and got extended until 2014 last month! It's not too shabby. I defo want to stay in HR in the future though!

Wow seriously, must be raking it in! That's not a bad job at your age tbh! That's awesome, Human Resources for the council so is that to do with funding/housing/playgrounds etc?

My old manager helped me get into a job and was more outgoing but her management skills in work was non-existant. My new one is a lot better, weekly meetings - the lot.

The money isn't that bad but I will be on the same for at least the next 3 years because they've been fixed. I do Resourcing, so it's meeting with managers, advertising their jobs, getting the applications, arranging interviews, offer letters/contracts, CRBs etc. Theres different parts of HR, though.

Hopefully I can stay here until I'm about 21/22 then Ill start applying in private companies. More money and less work, bonuses, courtesy cars lol..

I've seen a lot of guys try to act like players but forest definitely has to be the least convincing.

I didn't know what I wanted to do when I left school. Left straight after year 11, got an apprenticeship in HR and here I am! I've never tried anything other than HR, so I don't know what anything else is like.

Ive never got anything not to do, most of my team are young aswell so we have a laugh! Sometimes it doesn't even feel like going to work.

Im off to bed anyways, still nackerd from last night Have a great weekend lads!
