Why do Chelsea fans think Chelsea are too good for Rafa Benitez? This is a club that has had Avram Grant, Scolari, AVB and Di Matteo managing the club at some point in the last 5 years.

Really doesn't surprise me, he should have never been appointed full time anyway. He did ok at West Brom but got sacked because his teams didn't know how to defend. He goes to Chelsea and goes the complete opposite and defends with a whole team for 90 minutes and luckily wins the Champions League. This season he went back to his West Brom days, playing attacking football without caring about the defence.

Whoever gets appointed so soon is gonna look bad, if it is decided on Thursday then this new manager was obviously approached before RDM was sacked.

Even for Roman, this is crazy. Still, I was always under the impression that Abramovich didn't really want to make RDM the manager in the first place. Hence the short contract he was on.

Who's the right person? Chelsea's only philosophy is to spend money and win, there is no structure so there is no way you can say "x type of manager is the best for our team" you've gone old, then young, defensive, then attack minded, you've gone innovate and traditional, from owner's lapdog to an "outlaw" no one has any idea who's right for this team.
