From that post, it seems that you're implying that Crump is only being nice to gain something in return. He hasn't said that. He's only described himself as being a nice guy in general who treats people with respect. I don't know how you've interpreted that as him being a player.

He's said before about how he would talk to girls alot only for them to chose someone else, which is what Im talking about in that post.

Unless he was talking about something else, and I misunderstood him. He says, "I don't get it, I'm nice, I'm..." implying that he doesn't understand why girls don't like him, despite him being nice and whatever.

Yeah, he did, but he didn't say he only spoke to them a lot in an attempt to get something in return. To me, all he's done is put it across to us that he's nice to girls, so why do they choose to go for someone else?

For me, I would act as I am (generally pleasant) but make my intentions clear, if she's not interested, then I'll move on. I think the main problem with being a nice guy to try and initiate a relationship is guys don't make their intentions clear and are then surprised when she's only seeing a platonic relationship. I don't think guys are doing it to be dicks, they just are too passive to be forward about what they want.

Sarcastic, unapologetic and flirty is the way forward. If I'm trying to initiate something with a girl that's all I do.

Seen that before, think it relates to Seans post more because those girls are aware of an attraction, but would just be rather friends. I think there is some responsibility on them to cut the guy off. If the girls are fully aware he's only really interested a relationship and is only being friendly to get that, then I think both of them are in the wrong.
