However I do watch Barcelona. You have literally no chance. Surely you don't think you can get anything from the Nou Camp, Celtic should just be happy to go to a warmer climate for a day out and a lesson in football.

Spartak done well at the Nou Camp

I'm being realistic though. I hope you do give it a go and prove me wrong but I think only Celtic fans hold that belief.

Saying a team has 0% chance without seeing that team play isn't being realistic.

Ok you can have 0.00000000000000000000001% chance of winning or drawing this game. Happy?

Worse teams than celtic have got results against this barca side at the nou camp, if celtic play with 11 men behind the ball on the edge of the box then who knows but I have a feeling they'll try to be too adventurous and get hammered

ANDRES INIESTA fears Celtic’s Euro talisman Georgios Samaras will shatter Barcelona’s fragile defence.

“Celtic are a strong team. Their biggest asset is the collective strength of the players.
“But Samaras is the one player who can make the difference. He is very direct, fast and powerful.

“Celtic have many dangerous players. We know about Miku but Samaras stands out for me. He is the main threat and we will have to watch him closely.
“He scored the winner against Spartak Moscow in the last game and is playing with a lot of confidence.

“Teamwork has been the key to Celtic’s success so far in the Champions League — but Samaras is a special player.

“It won’t be easy against Celtic on Tuesday. It’s difficult because we don’t know everything about the team.

“It’s different from playing teams in La Liga as we are familiar with them and know their strengths.

“We don’t know every detail about Celtic and any mistake you make can cost you dearly.”

“We have had bad luck and lots of setbacks in defence. We haven’t had any stability but we have to get on with it.

“All our injuries seem to have come in defence and losing Pique and Puyol at the same time has been unlucky.”

“They have put themselves in a strong position with the first two results and are currently our main rivals.

“Drawing against Benfica and then winning in Russia was a positive start, especially in such a tough group.

“We have a lot of respect for Celtic. They are a famous club with a lot of tradition and we know that it will be difficult for us.”

“Celtic are especially strong at home. They have a fantastic record in the Champions League.

“It will be a very difficult game for us. The crowd always get behind Celtic from start to finish and make it hard.

“It’s a different game from the Nou Camp and you have to be very focused when you play in Glasgow.

“However, we know if we win these games that puts us in a great position to qualify for the last 16.”

To be fair, no player goes in to an interview or conference and says "Yeah, mate. I'm looking forward to Tuesday because we'll do these shit bastards over. Samaras is shit and looks like a tramp"

They are just empty words that Iniesta said. He thinks Barcelona will smash Celtic.

I don't think they are empty words Mal. He's not just paying lip service to be humble. Samaras on his day can cause damage to any defence. Barcelona players have always treated us with the utmost respect. Unlike some other teams ie. Spartak manager I'm sure said he thought we had no chance before we beat them.

I like this quote from Xavi as well "Celtic, like Barcelona, are more than a football club. Our clubs are a symbol of a culture and community that has not always been made welcome in their respective countries."

Like Mal said, he is just being humble. Any sane person would believe Barcelona will win comfortably. Of course, anything can happen, especially with Barca's sometimes questionable defense.

So you think he doesn't genuinely think Samaras will pose any threat at all?

    3-0 Barca.

We won't get humped. We don't do that against the big teams. We save getting our arses skelped for the wee teams.

Nowhere does Iniesta say Barcelona won't win comfortably, he's just saying Celtic are a good team and they need to be wary .. what's wrong with that?

The eagerness to dismiss a genuine complement is embarrassing.

Every player poses some sort of threat. But how much of a threat? Barca's opponents rarely see the ball during a match.
