Tried it out, not as solid through the middle. Once you get past the CAM's, which shouldn't be too hard as they are almost playing as strikers if it's high pressure, it's pretty easy. Works like a charm most of the time. Won the Premier Cup using it. When it doesn't work though, it fails terribly. One guy just kept playing through balls to Benzema and Ronaldo and hammered me. Not sure how many games you tried it with, but it took me a while to get used to it. Usually kept the line of four at the back in place (it's not like I need more people in advanced positions). When I lose the ball I use the AM's and wingers to track back depending on the location of the ball (relates to your point about the weakness in central midfield). Also have to be ready to run back with the fullbacks or CB's, or run forward with the GK at a moment's notice.
Your formation is interesting, b/c I would think it was susceptible to attacks down the wings. Will have to check it out.
Played a game last night where I went 3x0 up, guy came back to lead 3x4, then I came back to win 6x4.
Also tried out the formation of the Ajax team of 95. Works better than I thought it would. Only managed a draw but I should have won. The back 4 isn't really reflected properly in that diagram. It's basically RB-CB-LB; RM, CDM, LM, CAM; RW,ST,LW;

I tried it for 4 games but had the same problems in all the matches. When I went to try and play offside my fullbacks were keeping them on half the times. Plus I fell suspect to over the top balls as well. Now I just usually start games with my formation and then switch to yours when I've got 2/3 goals and want to add even more pressure.
I thought it would too but after playing 5 games it turns out it works pretty well, I haven't conceded yet. You could change the CM's the CDM's to make it more solid if you like but I'm used to 3 at the back formations so I leave mine at CM. Wouldn't recommend using the high pressure tactic though, you will have to manually pressure with each player, I tried it and the CB's ended up all over the place.
I like games like that, especially when you are using unorthodox formations. You just imagine the guy on the other end going "what the fuck kind of formation is this?".

Well I have been playing a few games lately with Nimes after a good run.
In my last nine games with Nime (league only) I had gone 6-1-2.
After that sixth win which took my to like 7th or 8th place Arsenal came in and offered me the job so I took it right away. I was flowing with my boys at Nime but it was an opportunity I had to take.

Four straight 1 goal losses by goals passed the 80th minute. The Defoe climbing over Mertesacker to get a winner in the 90th minute had to be the greatest of them all.

Says he will play out the rest of his contract and then look to go elsewhere. He is valued at 40mill, and after this season finishes will have a year left on his contract. Going to have to put him up for sale and replace him in the summer. No idea who to replace him with. ramsey does okay but is kind of a douche, but other than him my midfielders are Cazorla and Arteta who will be 30 and 31 or something.

Jesus, somehow everything seems to be 10x as hard on my Stoke career now... I've lost like 5 out of my last 7 games. Gave up two penalty's last game where I pulled on the guy's shirt and he didn't fall...

I still have plenty of players to sell on the team, they're deep, but I don't really wish to be paying him 160 k a week. I'll just have to sell him. Cazorla is more important to my team at the moment.

I think my career mode is glitched... I'm at my first friendly in my second season and no one on loan has gone back to their actual clubs. I want to sign Carroll but he's still at loan at West Ham. They're supposed to go back to their clubs at the start of the season aren't they?

Ive charged Arsenal to the top of the table. Sitting in first place on 79 points with 5 games left, including one against United. Second place is Spurs, three points behidn me. Third place is City with 71 and United are 10 behind with 69.
Got knocked out of the FA cup in the semis by City, losing 2-1. Aguero got both of theirs, then Jackie got one for me. Then I played a lobbed through ball to Ox-Ch and its a strange bounce, he chests it, gets pulled back and gets advantage called, then he heads it past Hart to equalize and they give me the FK outside the box. Cmon. Then Theo hit the bar with a header on the 83 minute. Hurts, thought we were gonna win that trophy.
In the Euros I have defeated somebody i cant remember, Malaga, then Marseille, and now I face Inter in the final.
Jack has gone on the transfer list after asking for it, the owners put him on there.
Podolski has 32 goals in all comps, and his 23 in the league leads all players. Also just took the Uruguay job.
Edit: Also, do you guys know how to have your players drop the throw in and wait for the LB/RB to come take it? It can happen, ive done it I just don't know how.
