Give him more. If he just rejects the contract if you give him more they'll almost always accept. A lot of the time players say they're not going to sign a contract then just give them a few over the recommended price and they sign all the time.

Marco Fabian spend half a season threathing not to sign a new contract, then like 2 matches before the season finishes he tells me he's happy at Guadalajara and wants to stay.

2nd Roma ssn didn't go too well. Won nothing. Sold Lamela to Real Madrid for 45 million, sold Bradley b/c he wanted to be off, and had a 30 million counter offer accepted for Osvaldo. Decided to develop my young talent instead of signing a big striker. Hasn't gone too well in ssn 3 so far. Near the bottom of the table for some odd reason. Should have gone to Man City when I had the chance.

Started a career with Fulham and finished 11th in my first season. I decided to buy a top striker to help me finish higher so I got Dzeko for 13m. There was also this really weird ongoing story at Spurs in the news section where Sandro didn't like the weather. One week a story pops up saying that Sandro refused to leave the building because it was so cold and instead trained inside EA also managed to sneak some weather related puns into the articles; "Climate of change at Spurs as they look forward to life without Sandro" and "Sandros transfer goes cold as no clubs have approached Spurs" were two of the better ones.

He eventually moved to Man Utd

Yeah Nani didn't like the weather in mine (let's forget the fact in real life he's "put up with it" for almost 5 years). Ended up saying Spurs and Madrid were the front runners. If he didn't like the winter weather in Manchester he's hardly going to enjoy it any more in London.

Well after receiving ZERO bids for 87 rated 23 or whatever year old Wilshere he is now playing for the club with less than a year on his contract remaining. He is valued at 40+ mill and wants to leave so we put him for sale and got no buyers, how stupid.

But in anticipation of my best player leaving, I signed Andrea Poli from Sampdoria.

It was perfect. Ridiculous pace on the wings, a ridiculous powerhouse up to, and a powerful shot just behind him.

and in defense, pace and stamina in all 4 positions, if not a little on the small side. (Never seen a centerback with 90 stamina before )

But my 4 time championship side was dismantled because Araujo is a cunt. 2 days before the transfer deadline he hands in a transfer request, and the board forces me to sell him.

Bought another Araujo to replace him, Nestor. 90 strength, 75 pace, and 6'4. It was really my only realistic option as all the other quality centerbacks either cost over 5,00,000 or are not Mexican. He's only my third signing to come from outside the club, every other player is homegrown.

Just started my 3rd season. I've played every single match.

In my Leeds CM I tried selling a reserve player to raise funds. He was unhappy because he wasn't getting enough game time yet I accepted SEVEN separate bids from different clubs and each time the talks broke down

Maybe his current contract is too good to give up.

I suffered a similar problem with Diego Martinez. He was the lowest rated player in my team with like 57 overall, bunch of lower league English teams tried signing but he refused all of them. Finally offloaded him to Crew Alexandria during transfer deadline day.

They've already been updated.

I did some sleuthing and read that was the case but about two days ago I tried downloading the roster update but nothing seemed to change. I just thought they meant FUT was update not the regular offline roster. Maybe I missed something. I'll check again later tonight.

To be fair on them we don't know how difficult it might be to make it so everyone except them and Barcelona B can be promoted.

I finally discovered the wonders of FIFA 13 creation center. I've started making my own league of the second division of Mexico.

I can't imagine why anyone but me would be interested but I'll probably be up some time in the next three days.

Does anyone know how player movement from Barca B to Barca works? I remember I took a Barca B player on loan and he went up to like 76 overall and next season he went to the senior side. How does that even work?

If anything, it shows good thinking. Castilla aren't allowed to be promoted because they are an extension of RM but in FIFA they aren't. They have no connection in the game so Castilla are treated as a different entity which means if they aren't allowed to be promoted then there would be no point to playing them. No point in having them in the game.

Basically, they are a club in game rather than a Real Madrid b.

Started up a career mode with Barca. Playing in the whateverthespanishequivalenttothecommunityshieldiscalled against Real Madrid. Lost the first leg 1-0, and was up 2-0 in the second leg in the 80th minute, go to pause to make a sub and the game freezes. So I'm pretty pissed. I re-load the game, sim about 10 times because I really don't want to play the game again, and cannot get a winning result. So I'm like fuck it, I'll sim one more time and if I lose, I lose. So I actually end up getting a 2-0 result... Then comes the first game of the season, up 3-1 and around the 80th minute go to make a sub... It freezes.

same thing happens to me when I play Career Mode, so I've just stopped with FIFA altogether. I hope they fix this in FIFA 14 or else I might not bother getting it

And it gets worse, my last save was before I simmed the 2nd leg...

So I took Montoya on loan from Barca to Borussia M'Gladbach and decided to add the option to buy him at the end of the season. Barca agree. At the end of the season I agree to buy him and I have to send him a contract offer. He then declines this contract offer because "I love where I am currently living and I do not want to relocate. I may be persuaded if you modify your offer blah blah blah"

Had offers from Juve and Arsenal since I started my QPR save. Not had clubs approach me before.

I couldn't send him another offer because the transfer window wasn't open. I just quit game though and went back to try again with a higher wage and he accepted.

Taarabt's homesick. Lovely, he's only been living in England for 6 years.

Just won a game 7-4 on my career mode... I'm on one of those runs where no matter fucking what you do you give up at least 2 goals a game. Last game I gave up a own-goal trying to defend a cross somehow and I did a clearing head that for some reason the AI decided to direct right at my goalkeeper, who should have easily caught it but decided to slap it straight up behind him while falling down, right into the path of their attacker.

This match I gave up two penalties from standing tackles, one from pulling a guy's jersey, one regular goal, then one goal where I laid it back off to my keeper and with full bars he punted it into the back of the same guy who laid it off to him, then the CPU's attacker picked it up and put it in.

First time I've been on FIFA in about 5 months.

Updated the squads and started a career with Chelsea.

Lampard retiring at the end of the season, just when I was going to give him a year extension.

Not bothering signing anybody, just loaning out the kids and selling dead wood like Malouda, Turnbull etc.
