Has anyone else noticed that they've changed Rafael's hair? It's pretty cool that they can do that without an update.

Thinking of getting this game again. I need a footy game and I'm no longer into Black Ops 2.

That said, would you guys recommend any particular clubs for CM that you've had a lot of fun with? It's by far my favorite game mode.

Well yeah, but I meant a proper game update.

I think they've changed it this year so they can change starheads with just small little squad updates, It's pretty cool.

The CMs I've enjoyed the most are the ones with Aston Villa and Southampton. With A. Villa I played with two defensive midfielders and one attacking midfielder defensively, attackingwise that changed to one defensive midfielder and two attacking midfielders. I had Delph, Bannan and Ireland as first choice midfielders. It worked like a charm.

Southampton has a bunch of talented youngsters. Gáston, Shaw, Clyne, Ward-Prowse, Mayuka. A few seasons in and they're unstoppable.

Dunno Xbox controller but what I generally do use is square (lobbed pass) when the ball is infront of me and I'm running towards it or standing still. If the ball is behind me (i.e. a lead cross that's between you and the goal) I use circle (clear/shoot button) because that way you don't have to aim your header.

I find that if you're already controlling the guy who's attempting the header, you are far more likely to win it. In fact, I win it pretty much every single time provided I'm standing in front of the attacker.

What I do is control a CB and just stay in front of the biggest off the ball threat whilst waiting for the cross. You'll need to pressure the guy on the ball with a second defender (RB/R1) if you're going to do this.

If done correctly you'll rarely concede headers.

Schneiderlin and Cork also have potential in the high 70s or low 80s too.

Btw, the accent in Gaston is on the o.

Schneiderlin is 79 on mine in my second season. He has 90 short passing and 83 standing tackle.

wtf, it's impossible to sign suddenly transfer listed players

pique got suddenly transfer listed, so i put in a transfer offer the same day he was put on the transfer list. i advanced 3 days and he goes to man city all of a sudden. i reloaded the game, put in a transfer again, but the same thing happens. i reloaded 10x but it never got to the point where barca accepts/rejects my transfer offer

later in the transfer window, man city transfer lists aguero. i put in a transfer offer the same day, but madrid signs him before man city even accepts/rejects my transfer offer. reloaded the game 10x to try this as well

Rhodes wants a contract increase to 40,000 pounds. He's 2nd in the league in scoring right now, and I'd be perfectly willing to give it to him if that increase wasn't like 80% of my budget right now. Managed to get 3.4 million out of my board with the conditions of placing mid table (currently 9th) and getting to the semis in the cup (which I already have). I'm in desperate need of a central midfielder right now.

Think that's the first time I've seen the CPU get sent off for two yellows. Was the weakest second yellow ever too, the guy didn't even go down he just got it for tugging on him. Of course it was against Stoke too, fucking Nzonzi.

Rhodes denied my contract extension of 35,000 and said he's decided he's not going to accept an extension (though you can still send him offers). He has the rest of the season remaining + 3 years on 10,000 a year. Hell, I'll take that instead of you signing an extension (mind you he didn't ask for a transfer). I'm going to offer him the 40,000 anyway though, because I don't want him to leave. I've already had 4 first team players demand transfers... Dann, Olsson, Kayal, and Pedersen.

EDIT: Yep, he accepted the 40k one. As soon as "rumour got out that Rhodes wants out" I got like 6 transfer offers in the like 3 day period between him saying he doesn't want to sign a new contract, and him signing a new contract.

EDIT: And they still shut me out with Bale at CB. He's actually a really good CB, he has like mid-high 70 sliding and standing tackle. Fuck loads of pace, and has good enough height and jumping for headers.

Started a new save as Ajax. Bought a 5* scout from Holland to scout the country to imitate their youth system. Might buy another soon and get them to scout Denmark as they've got a few from there.

Alderweireld wont sign a new contract but he's still got 2 years left so hopefully I'll convince him to stay by then.

Fischer gets good, almost signed him for Zenit. Also, I love Eriksen but he asked to leave Zenit 5 times, and asked for a pay rise 5 times. He shouldn't do that at Ajax though.

Started a Swansea one, signed Hugo Mallo the RB, Sissoko the young CM, and got an Indian GK who was a free agent for 3rd choice and signed Jonathon dos santos on loan for a bench CM.

Sold Graham for 4m, and then sold 4 other young players and loaned out 5.
