Might sell Carrick in the summer. 33 now, down to 78 OVR. Genuinely prefer Nick Powell in midfield over him.

I bought Strootman for £15m when he's worth £9m for United (January, season 3). Suddenly had loads of reports of how I'd overpayed.

I think I've only simmed games which have crashed when I've been playing them.

Ah great buggy game :/ as long as its better than when i tried playing it on my laptop i don't mind .
I usually sim some and play some since i can't be arsed doing them all
I remember Fifa 08 or something where there was a challenge to play all the games without simming....took me fucking ages...

Re: FIFA 13
Anyone recommend a championship team to be that would be able to fit into a 3-4-1-2 formation without having to change the whole team. Preferably not a recently relegated team.

Re: FIFA 13
Started a new CM with Beskitas. The guy who created the league did a good job with the teams, kits, rosters and a decent amount of licensed players. Unfortunately, he was an absolute mong when it came to the younger players. A lot of the players under 25 have below 50 acceleration/pace.
Also, since the league was created post-patch, that meant no Quaresma.
Decided to spend all my money on two scouts in order to farm some young Turkish players for my squad.

Scratch the last part. I sold some random and brought in Alanzinho from Trabzonspor. Also loaned in Marrone and Montoya.

Ipswich Town, definitely. They have Creswell and Hewitt who develop into terrific attacking fullbacks, so they can be played in a wide midfield position. They also have JET who can play upfront or behind and they have plenty of midfield options. Oh, and they have Loach. Pretty decent team.

I've been playing with default sliders for a few days on World class. Prefer the game with sliders though.

I bought Zouma on my Spurs career mode too. Also bought some Henriquez guy off United, 18 year old 72 rated striker. He grew to 75 at the end of the season and I bought him in January. Never heard of him in real life.
I play one World Class with no sliders. (besides Injuries).Templeton7|RFC wrote:Do any of you guys play on World Class/Legendary, without sliders?

Re: FIFA 13
So a few years into my Be a Pro Career mode. I started for Ajax where i was loaned out twice which included 8 months of total injury time, in the period i won the Danish Cup and League title with 2 different teams.
I join Ajax back and get bought by Udinese 2 games into the season who sell me back to Ajax in january where i win the league title. Then i get sold to Liverpool and Suarez gets injured for 6 months the same week i join. Come January they sell me off to Real Madrid, curious i think. My player is just 77 overall due to the massive injury period yet Madrid wants me, i join the club and discover that now because of me Sergio Aguero with overall 90 is now on the bench.
Fifa logic, buying on-form players is the best way to do it!

Re: FIFA 13
Really enjoying my career mode with Spurs atm, hardly even playing online.
Right now I'm tied for 1st in the league after 7 games with City and Chelsea. Last season Liverpool came 4th, finishing ahead of the likes of Man United, Man City, and Newcastle. This year after 6 games they were 17th (didn't check after my last game). Current line-up
1st team:
Sigurdsson (81)
Lennon (81)
Henriquez (75)
Adebayor (83)
Caulker (78)
Livermore (77)
The growth is pretty ridiculous on this game, again. Sigurdsson up all the way to 81 in a little more than one season, only being a rotation player, and Bale going up to 90. The coolest thing about international management on career mode is how the teams change so much. Caulker just got his first England call up and Sandro is now a starter for the Brazilian national team. I've noticed Dempsey never gets called for the national team though, I guess he's retired from international play or something?

Re: FIFA 13
Yeah growth is silly on this game atm. Had half my team go up 4/5 points and I'm only in November.
Currently sitting in 10th after 11 games with 4 wins, 3 draws and 4 losses. Team is starting to come together now, Ince is a beast on the right cutting in. Lost to United and City in my 1st 2 games 2-1 despite leading in both but I've got more steady since, beating Spurs 2-0 at home being a highlight. Think I'm going to look at selling Davis and replacing him as he's made a few random errors that have cost my team point.Top goalscorer in my team is Ramirez on 8 (mostly long shots)
My team:
Subs: Gazzaniga[65], Yoshida[73], Shaw[63], Ward-Prowse[69], Iturbe[76], Mayuka[76], Lambert[74]
Also go two other formations (one for Cups and another because I just like the formation);
