FIFA 13

Everyone rages at FIFA, rage quits etc. It isn't possible not to get mad. Especially this year, when it feels like every ball runs away from you etc.

I'll be getting this game on Friday. But tell me, does the first touch system really fuck up everything or is it possible to get used it it after a few games? I'm asking because it sounds like on EVERY list of peoples down sides about this game, there is always the first touch thing cocking it up somewhere.

First season.. Torres to Germany. Benzema and Sneijder to Chelsea. Rooney to Real Madrid. Hamsik and Boateng to Man City..

I don't think it's that bad but that people are just having a hard time adjusting. I'm doing pretty well with it now and using the first touch to my advantage now.

You can get used to it.. and by used to it I mean just accept the fact that the ball has a mind of its own and the amount of interceptions because the ball just..

It's not that bad. Some players have awful touches but it's not been like on every pass received for me.

I'm 2-0 beat Sunderland and beat Arsenal. Suarez is a boss.

I've only played UT though.. which everything is very fast, even receiving the ball.. so could be the issue.

that's how i've been using it in the demo, i usually try to turn and shoot in the box, but was noticing that the defense was better than it was in 11 and blocking them, using my first touch to get away allows me to keep on doing that.

But when you guys say youre using first touch are you actively using the right stick when the ball is coming or just moving the player that direction? I think that will confuse some people.

I'm talking about flicking the analog stick, so I guess it's not really the new first touch system, but then again I havent noticed as much as others have... then again, I've only played the demo.

This is the first FIFA where I've actually enjoyed to play as Van Persie.

Yeah, I found RVP really, really good on the demo.

I searched through the catalog today. I'm only level 27 but there's some sweet retro jerseys available. I got City, Bayern, Chelsea, Arsenal and a few more. They're quite cheap as well.

Pissed that they didn't fix how if you lose the header after a goal kick your entire defence is out of position and you're helpless as the opposition gets through on goal.... I conceded and scored so many goals online this way in Fifa 12. Other than that though I'm pretty happy with the game thus far

They need to make those chipped balls more harder to pull off. I reckon they should make it more manual...that would be a great challenge.

Nah, those chipped balls are hard to pull off if your opponent isn't retarded when it comes to defending.

I never get beat like that. Pace only hurts me when it comes from the wings after I lose the ball in midfield. i.e. my fullbacks are on their side of the pitch.

And yeah, I know RVP doesn't have pace, but usually that technique is used with quick forwards.

Chipped balls seems impossible in the demo, in FIFA 08 it was OD, but they've nerfed it.
