Cardiff for me will be a first one but it seems a bit weird, have to exchange tickets at motorway services between 1-1.30pm but then that still leaves 90 mins till kick off. All coaches will surely get an escort to the ground, so what da fuck are we meant to do for entertainment for an hour and a half?
Luckily we don't have these bubble trips at Bury.

Yeah it happened last season as well I think. I just don't know what we're meant to do, even if we get the tickets at half 1 we will be at the ground for 1.50pm ish. Fuck going in that early, will be boring and they won't serve beer.Jordi wrote:Tends to happen on bubble trips.Uncle John from Jamaica wrote:Anyone ever been to a game before where you have to exchange your voucher for a ticket at a meeting point? Re: npower Football League Thread
Tuesday we lost 3-0 at home to Yeovil. I already have lost faith in this team as we already sit in the bottom two, I do however think if the Wycombe game stood it could be so different!
Mowbray confirmed how much he paid for Carayol - 300k plus upto 200k in add-ons - which is around what I thought.

Re: npower Football League Thread
I thought Rovers would have done better.
JPT draw on Soccer Am tomorrow after 10am.
We can play these lot below.
Crewe Alexandra, Morecambe, Port Vale, Preston North End, Rochdale, Shrewsbury Town, Walsall
I want either Port Vale or Dale away.

We signed Leon Clarke on a loan today and Karl Hawley on a free transfer. Both until January.
No idea what they're like so can't comment.

Oxford at home in the JPT. Decent draw although we are facing Oxford at home the week after at WR. Will be surprised if 2000 turn up.

League 1 and 2 fans.... Any tips on games where both teams will probably score?

Re: npower Football League Thread
Bury V Preston could be worth a shout.
Apart from that I'd go with in League 1..
Yeovil V Bournemouth
Crewe V Tranmere
Notts County V Shrewsbury
Your signature.

I'd go for Northampton v AFC Wimbledon, Torquay v Argyle and possibly even Wycombe v Cheltenham.
Wimbledon can't defend for shite yet have scored in all but one of their games,
Torquay have seen 10 goals in their last 2 home games, although I thought they were a tough team to break down but Argyle managed 3 past Northampton last week.
And for Cheltenham, our style of play works a lot better away from home. I can definitely see us getting a couple of goals. My only doubt is defensively we are vulnerable as our captain at centre back is out again and the young lad replacing him is short of confidence.

Another win for the Gills, still top of the league and 2nd from bottom Bristol Rovers at home next week!!
I remember Bristol causing Gills a few problems last year so it'll be interesting to see how they do.

Absolutely robbed today of all three points. We played quite well and deserved the win. Sheff United are dirty fucking cunts and weren't very good. There fans are hooligans and did a pitch invasion when they equalized The stewards knocked the shit into some of there fans. I can't believe we didn't win though, they had 9 men.

We drew 2-2 with Aldershot, Clarkson and Broghammer getting there first for the club. Clarkson easily man of the match for me. Looking better, slowly getting there.

Beat Bury 2-1. Two powerful headed goals by Sodje and Sherriff.
Outnumbered Bury's fans too. Said there were 2,700 fans of ours but I thought there was a bit more.
Oh and the moment our fans jumped over the netting into the empty seating area to get to the Bury fans Bet Matty shit himself

Oh yes I shit myself from your fans.. I was on the barrier separating your lot so not really. Why do you and other Preston fans have to keep mentioning you outnumbered us? Big deal we don't get many fans and we have been outnumbered many times.

We had a policeman filming our end after you scored which peeved me off. There were more out today then I've ever seen for a Bury game including Sheffield United when they brought 1000 more then you.

Matty, we're sheff united fans such cunts when they came to Bury? They were such cunts today, was delighted when the one of the stewards knocked the fuck out of one of them when he ran on the pitch.
