Has anyone here ever bought those shady international version textbooks which are like 1/4th the price? I ordered one whose listing specifically said it's in the States so it should come quicker, I check the tracking thing, and it's coming from fucking India. I paid extra for it to come in 2-3 business days.

I found a free one to download instead of the overpriced US version when I was taking Physics.

Worst decision ever. Wasn't that the book was bad, but the way the class was taught, I needed the US one.

The quality of this thread triples when you guys are around.

If you found a free to download of course it's going to be shit, if it's publicly given the author knows you'll need the real book anyways. However, if you obtain the book illegitimately you're likely going to get the book exactly as you need it. Crazy thing I found out, you can go to the school library, I found the previous edition of a book I needed and if everything works out I save $190.
