You get two hole cards (cards unique to you) and there are 5 community cards (cards which everyone can use to make their hand). You try to make the best 5 card and and the person with the best one wins. Here is a list of the hands.

Manchester Met is one of my faves too


Have a feeling I'll end up choosing Northumbria as 1st choice though. I just love Newcastle so much.

But then I loved Manchester too, and City and United are better footballl teams than Newcastle, and the Trafford Centre probably just pips the Metro Centre.

But then I also like Sheffield Hallam, and also want to look at Leeds Met.

But then, I'm also thinking of picking Derby or Notts Trent as back up, in case I have last minute nerves or something and don't want to leave home

I am going to look at Leeds Met and contemplating Sheffield Hallam as I love the city there.

At one point I was interested in Nottingham Trent but feel like staying closer to home.

I might be going to Northumbria. At the moment it's the one where I will go if I get an offer, but I haven't really finished looking. Need an ABB to get in there
