He was perfectly sane and in control of his actions at the time of his crime. He'd have been laughed out of court if he even tried to play the 'insanity' card.

If you think about it this man murdered that girl because of a series of unfortunate events that began with his conception. It is not his fault that he, as a result of his genetics an conditioning he was pre disposed to be capable of murder, after all.

If your going to blame the genetics, surely that means you think that no one is responsible for their actions any-more. So, kids that are born from 'troubled' families shouldn't be given a chance of living because they will do something wrong because genetics say that they will.

There's a difference between getting drunk then getting angry and getting drunk, getting angry and stabbing someone sixty times (I still can't get my head around that number).

That can't be a one-off, the kid must have serious issues. That makes him dangerous.

If you look at this kids action it is obvious he has no heart or brain and very dangerous so putting him away for life is the right thing to do. What an idiot, his life was made with a professional football contract and then he does this.

It still doesn't make him insane. If he was insane, he would almost be completely absolved of blame. He would not be in control of his actions and would have no idea of the consequences his actions would cause. You do realise what actual insanity is? He realised what he had done pretty much instantly.

Many serial killers are declared mentally insane because they see no value in human life, they get their jollies off randomly killing people, raping children, torture and mutilating bodies. This kid on the other hand had a fuck load to drink after an argument with his missus, was said to be incredibly jealous and ending up brutally killing her. The lad does have some issues - mainly anger and issues with jealousy. But to call him insane is ridiculous.
