    We will be very high on confidence as we were able to bounce back after our 2-1 loss at Stamford Bridge with a 1-0 win over Arsenal on Sunday which turned out to be a footballing spectacle.Looking to stay top of the league at Christmas it is a must win game for Manchester City.

    In terms of the team news, Kolarov is out Clichy has served his one match ban as it was two yellows and not a direct red against Arsenal on Sunday meaning he is available to start and most likely will start despite Pablo Zabaleta putting in a fantastic performance in Clichy's absence.Micah Richards appeared to have picked up a
    knock during the recent victory over Arsenal, and Pablo Zabaleta could
    play at right-back if the Englishman is unable to make a full recovery. Mario Balotelli having just played on Sunday has been on great form but I expect Roberto Mancini to do some rotation and give Edin Dzeko the nod for this match.Aside from that the usual starters Hart, Kompany, Lescott, Clichy, Yaya, Barry, Nasri, Silva, Aguero and Balotelli are all fit for this match.My predicted lineup for the match is:

    I have not seen enough of Stoke City to judge them on this season but they have only lost 1 match in their last 5 games and have won 3 out of their last 5, one of those 3 wins includes a win over inform Tottenham Hotspur, their last game was a 2-1 win against Wolves.Ryan Shawcross is suspended as he picked up his 5th Yellow Card against Wolves.My predicted Stoke City lineup is:

    It was a great win, I feel we dominated the vast majority of the game, I also noticed our build up play was slightly more quick when having Silva, Nasri and Adam on the field together but I doubt Mancini will use it often unless Balo or Dzeko needs a rest.Overall good win to stay at the top of the table.Adam Johnson's goal was amazing, he always scores the best goals for us.
