Eh. The subway is entertaining, but I can't imagine the bus being entertaining.

Yeah, I'm quite enjoying it as well.
The thing is that has taken me so many hours to cut out and I won't make any money on it, money raised is going to charity so hoping it goes for a lot
I'll post pics as I progress if you want? I've just finished the background

You should make a thread about it (Not cos it's spam, but it deserves it's own thread to track your progress)

That's why I love living in NYC, bought a car during high school, realized after a year that I don't need it, just take the subway everywhere.

I know New Yorkers are supposed to take the Subway everywhere, but surely that doesn't apply when on dates right? Was wondering, sounds romantic but it's probably a hassle.
I don't know, maybe public transportation in New York is more reliable than it is in LA.

It's also faster in a lot of cases. In Cairo, it takes 15-20 minutes to drive to work from my house in the morning and then takes about 2 hours in the evening. The subway takes just about 40 minutes either way.
MARTA (Atlanta's subway) was quite entertaining. Cairo's is just fucking annoying and crowded, but gets you to a lot more places around the city than MARTA does.

Usually both parties take the subway to the destination, and leave using the subway too. If you leave from the same place or get lucky and take her home then you use a cab, unless they are in a different borough. Then you use subway. There's a whole manual on this shit.

lol I was gonna say the tube in London is pretty good most of the time, really easy to use. Shame about the no-deodorant rule that seems to be in force.

Some claim to be but it's obvious they're not. I remember being in a tube carriage that was 55 degrees celsius once.

It really is like some unwritten law of the London Underground. The smell from some people is just unreal.

That's ridiculous
The stations in NYC get really hot but the cabs themselves are really cold.

I'm pretty sure both are nothing like the subway in Cairo. The trains are packed Japan-style and it's already hot as hell in Egypt. I was wearing a suit one day (and the AC wasn't working that day). I never sweated as much as that day.

Our subway system is supposed to be great but I don't really know anyone who uses it. Never used it myself either.
Here's another question about New York culture. Is it true that in New York, people(or at least a big majority if not all) actually judge you by the clothes you wear? I've heard this a lot about New York.

Well if you are just walking in the street you don't say OH MY GOD THAT WOMAN IS WEARING CROCS, and start talking about her to your friend (well maybe, crocs are fucking ghastly). But if you work with/go to school with someone who dresses like a slob (shirt all out, tie all mismatched and shit, shoes so busted they talk to you, etc.) then you'll most likely judge that person. Same deal if you're going to a party, and someone come through looking really busted, so basically if you're out in the streets, probably not. But if you are somehow acquainted with someone, and go to a social event (event work/school) you gotta make sure you're on point. I wouldnt say people judge you, but people that take pride in their appearance are likely to take pride in other things like that too.
namsayin'?
EDIT: And by judge I don't mean that if someone is looking bad that you think their a bad person, but in the back of your head you're like "get it together fam"
