It aint shit as it's true, he brought down Suarez within like 5 mins of the game due to his slow movement (fair enough he's big, but still), his 2 waywood passes and the fact that if it was any other referee he would have been off and a penalty due to the tackle coming from behind (just look at the RvP penalty) even though he got the ball. I'd feel 100% comfortable when Vermaelen and Koscielny are back there.

    1) He dived, so no idea how you can say that. He went down like he'd been shot.
    2) His passing wasn't great today but it's normally decent
    3) Oh gawd, that was an amazing tackle, in no way was that ever a foul. The RvP Pen? Was completely different.
    4) So would I, but still Per's been our best defender.

Jones that's probably the worst post i've ever seen of yours no offense Laughing
Yeah, but you know how Suarez is you just don't go touching the girl and his reaction to it wasn't quick enough hence why Suarez went down. I never once said it was a foul, what I'm saying is he took a huge risk and tackles from behind regardless of getting the ball always results in a foul, was only comparing it to the RvP one because the defender took the ball before he got RvP, but it was the manner in which he took it, Mertesacker's one was less rash of course, but it's Howard Webb and if it was a United player I'm sure it would have been a pen.

He's been good for us so far, but I'd have to agree with that cunt Viva that there's a mistake waiting to happen.

If he was a 20 year old defender with no experience, i'd agree, but he's been doing it for years for Germany and for his clubs and I don't think it's luck he got away with these things, he knows what he's doing, it's stupid to say he's a mistake waiting to happen imo.

He won't praise Mertesacker, Ramsey or Walcott like I won't praise Gervinho.

He got away with it today though, it isn't stupid, but we'll see anyway Koscielny should be back next game so it's nothing.

Didn't get away with anything, he did it all right bar his couple stray passes. And no he shouldn't, i'm LK's biggest fan but nobodys done anything to deserve being dropped, but I wouldn't complain either way. Not too fussed who starts.

It sounds even more pointless now it's called that.

And meh, we'll play the youth/reserves for a lot of it so it depends who we're drawn against.

If we played our starting XI for it who knows.

I'd rather we didn't waste our first team players in that tournament, if we get to the semi-finals playing weakened line-ups, great.. let's take it serious from there if we go out earlier.. oh no.

If we get to the quarters, i'd like us to play the first team players. A trophy is a trophy tbh, shit one or not but I wouldn't play the starting XI till then.

It's annoying because over the past 2 years, if everyone stayed and we managed to get Cazorla and sign barely anyone else bar the odd player, we'd have a title winning team with ease.

Hopefully Iniesta's back and keeps Santi from playing, Diaby shouldn't be near the French team he's been awful.

Only guaranteed starters on Internatial duty from today's starting 11 and bench are:

Vermalen and Ramsey I think, hopefully they don't use Chamberlain. We shall get through this un-harmed.
