I hate when its a corner and we keep trying to get it to Mertesacker on the near post. Just fucking get it in there.

It's been a long time, lol.
Good performances the last two games, been immense defensively especially Mertesacker. We're just lacking the movement upfront which will come with time no worries about that at all.

Re: Official Arsenal FC Thread
The more I think about it, Gustavo would be perfect. Left sided so will cover for Gibbs, Vermaelen and Podolski. Fantastic ball winner and will sit and tackle, quite young and very physical, can play LB quite well, CB if needed, and hopefully if they get Martinez might become available at a push.
Him, a RB that can do CB, and a striker, backup in all positions

I was watching the games today upstairs and I wrote down notes on my sister's laptop rather than my iPhone, I was reviewing on that laptop too then I realised it had like 2% battery left, I couldn't be assed to get the charger or a USB to move my notes so I posted it here, went on my desktop, copied it from the forum and deleted it.
Ingenious right.
What did you think of Rabiot today Gegil, I know you like his ass.

Re: Official Arsenal FC Thread
It annoys me so much that as tall as Mertesacker is, he's useless in the box as he can't jump to save his life. But my God Giroud's got a great leap on him, literally bullied Shawcross and Huth back there, almost jumps as high as Thomas Vermaelen.

I don't see why it matters, he rarely gets beat in the air.

Re: Official Arsenal FC Thread
Did you watch the game today? Walters was beating him for fun and it matters because it was like we was aiming for him for about half of our corners when Giroud andn Vermaelen are better in the air than him.

Re: Official Arsenal FC Thread
I recall him being beaten in the air on the odd ocassion, not for fun.
