I drew my first game away at Everton with QPR 2-2. Cisse scored a last minute equalizer The next game was at home to Man U Where I lost 3-1

the FM Weegie update is better anyway, no changed CA's/PAs, all loans expired etc, found a lot of flaws in Marshall's this year
Yeah, personally I'm not using it. Well, because I've not been playing it at all lately ... but yeah, he makes Liverpool & a few other teams players better and decreases Man Utd's player etc. Does the same with Celtic/Rangers, makes Celtic better. Not even that it's because it's Celtic better, it's just pointless.
Anyway, I'm going to wait for an official patch. Is there another one for FM12? If not, I'll just wait for FM13.
Might as well just download the weegie update, think the last release wasn't too long ago. Just going to add the transfers in myself from now on.

Ben
After taking Preston as far as I could with a minimal amount of money, i've decided to start as Notts County....I got PNE in my first league AND Capital One Cup game smashed them 4-0 in the league and 2-0 in the cup, they were down to 9 men in the first half, of the 2-0 loss, typical Westley thug teams

My players post hitting skills could rival even Liverpool's, absolutely ridiculous. I'm hitting the woodwork on average 2 times a match. I lost to Southampton 2-1, their first goal came from a rebound off the post.. I never get lucky rebounds!!

I meant to say Schalke, fuck I need sleep.
That fact that Schalke won (you never lose) & the fact that Borini plays for Schalke (you support Roma).

you're probably thinking of my roma save, which i went really far in. i only started schalke about a month and half ago. i went on a few personal vacations this past month so i was away from my laptop for a while. even when i'm not on vacation, i work full time so i only get to play 1-2 matches per day anyway . takes me about a month to complete a season

lol i was updating here more often when playing as Roma. my results were more interesting then because by 2015 i made Roma into the best team in the world. i quit because i had basically won everything already lol. started a new save with Schalke because they were my hometown club
Schalke, Dortmund, and Mainz are rocking the league so hard now lol
current team
Schalke 2012/13
a team: Adler || Walker Papadopoulos Howedes Escudero || Dzagoev Sandro Holtby || Marin Huntelaar Costa (4-5-1)
b team: Hildebrand || Schelotto Friedrich Zambrano Fabio(L) || Ramsey(L) Kenia Wilshere(L) || Raul || Schieber Borini (4-3-1-2)
pretty happy with what i got. i got ramsey/wilshere on free loans but they're not good enough to break into my team lol. my b team is good enough to take on most of Bundesliga

Re: The Football Manager Chat Thread!
some unknown Bundesliga players you guys may or may not know of. they're both cheap and worth looking into
Julian Schieber, great target man. 6 goals in 6 competitive starts. 8 goals in 6 friendly starts. needs work on his composure
Levan Kenia, good stats in every department. only drawback is his natural fitness. his condition/match fitness levels only allow him to play 1 match/week tops. good rotational player. would be more reliable if he had better natural fitness

There is this Georgian striker playing for Fiorentina that becomes a world beater. Totally forgot his name, but considering his nationaly I don't think he shoiuld be too hard to find.

Marshall's update won't affect the tactic, it's how you use Match Prep and the players you have

Anyone else having problem with the 4-3-3? Posession of 80%, yet I lose all the time. And yes, I have plenty of chances. I switched it to a 4-3-1-2 and tore 6 teams a part in a row, so I'm not sure what is going on.

It's how well the players know the tactics you have in place. Fairly simple..

Southampton? Huddersfield? Arsenal? They all have good youth set ups and strong squads.

Re: The Football Manager Chat Thread!
Just played my first friendly with Newcastle, I beat Carlise 3-0 but Demba Ba is out for 4 months so I'm hoping to get Del Piero to replace him. I spent the majority of my 17.5M on Johnny Hetinga (15 Million to be precise) so hopefully I now have a very strong CB partership of Hetinga and Coloccini. I've also bought Yttergard-Jenssen for 1M.

maybe your wingers just suck? lol. 4-3-1-2 dominates the middle. maybe your CM's and AM's are just better at what they do
Hernandez_14 wrote:In Feb 2012 of my Schalke save, Holtby 11 goals 25 assists. Hes owning it.
how do you play him? MC, AM, or LW? holtby's only average for me. but then again, he is competing with the likes of douglas costa, marko marin, dzagoev, wilshere, and aaron ramsey lol
Laurencio wrote:Scheletto

i had schelotto in FM11 for siena. fantastic wingback. i rejected a €40m bid for him from man city after having schelotto for only a season! i called him up for italian natonal team in FM12 and i just signed him again for schalke. probably the best right wingback i've ever used in the FM series. he performs better than his CA/PA suggests of him
i signed schelotto as backup to kyle walker, but he's keeping kyle on the bench!
however, during important matches vs bayern, chelsea, etc, i've used kyle walker as right wingback and schelotto as defensive right winger and he's been class there as well
