I like Daniel Day-Lewis, even in interviews he draws me in. It's weird.

Had a go at watching Gangs Of New York. Was bored stiff after an hour. I'll try finishing it another time.

Finished it. I did get better as it went on. It was too long though, I reckon at least 30 minutes should have been cut out.
    Spoiler:
Daniel Day Lewis, however, was superb.

If there is one thing I would never do is give up on a DDL film. No matter how bad it is.

    Pan's Labyrinth - 5/5.

Superb film. Gripping story, good blend of a historical time period and fantasy, and masterful cinematography.

Silver linings playbook 8/10 was really good but I don't know why.

Gangster squad 6-7/10 good but not amazing. Was expecting something terrible but it did its job well.

Lawrence should win the Oscar. De Niro, unfortunately, won't because he's going up against Christoph Waltz.

Silver Linings Playbook- I'd give it a 7, pretty solid film love some J-Law

Gangster Squad- Such a good film, I'd watch anything with Gosling in it. Penn was pretty good too. 8/10

Would be awesome if she did, thought she should've won it for Winter's Bone

Haven't Zero Dark Thirty yet but I'd be surprised if Chastain impressed me more than Lawrence. She and Cooper made Silver Linings Playbook with two very charismatic performances.

Sometimes. Not this year, though, I don't think. Ben Affleck wasn't even nominated for best director at the Oscars.

Maybe. The acting was awesome for sure. Bradley cooper was unexpected.

I'm prob gonna watch zero dark thirty online, no one wants to watch it because it seems 'stupid and racist'
