Nani is more valuble than Rvp, if we give you Nani you have to pay on top.

Re: Manchester United FC Official Thread
I'm surprised he's decided to talk about this tbh, maybe he's hoping RvP will force something through by coming out publicly about the bid. Unusual to say the least.
@intheknow99
It's not like he was badgered by journalists and caved in. This is an impromptu, arranged press conference to reveal this news.

Done. Send the papers.
Why couldn't negotiations be this easy? It's like trying making a deal on the EA Forums when you have an freshly pulled IF Vidic.

Lol that is very very weird, it's probably because he knows Arsenal will never sell to us, but he's hoping Rvp will kick up a fuss, if he doesn't show his interest publicly Arsenal would probably reject 25 million from us and 20 million abroad they'd accept, if Arsenal sell their best player to us I'd be shocked.Cameron. wrote:I'm surprised he's decided to talk about this tbh, maybe he's hoping RvP will force something through by coming out publicly about the bid. Re: Manchester United FC Official Thread
i dream of Persie and Rooney upfront
i still have no confidence in hernandez so i have wanted a striker (especially when we sell berba), so even if we dont get persie hope we actually get another experienced striker in to replace berba

Re: Manchester United FC Official Thread
I wouldn't be surprised if we put a bid in just for Ferguson to make people think he's actually interested in signing good players, with no intention of actually following through on it, much like with David Villa and Karim Benzema in previous years, the pattern's the same, top players who simple fans will get excited about, but who we have absolutely no need for. It's all smoke, mirrors, bullshit and disappointment with our transfer dealings.

Benzema rejected us numerous times though
"Sir Alex Ferguson has confirmed making an offer for Robin van Persie but accepts there are other clubs interested."
I dont like that last bit, kinda fits in with what RR is saying.

Re: Manchester United FC Official Thread
That's what he claims, Ferguson claimed we never had a bid accepted by Lyon (in the interview where he said Ronaldo was streets ahead of Messi and that what happened in Rome wouldn't happen again). Someone's full of shit there.Viva Ronaldo 7 wrote:Benzema rejected us numerous times though

A press release confirming we are interested is odd to say the least. I'm not sure I've seen that before.

"But we have plenty of ammunition in Ashley Young, Nani, Antonio Valencia, Shinji Kagawa, Wayne Rooney, Danny Welbeck and Chicharito - and maybe Dimitar Berbatov will have to stay."
Would that mean Nani should be staying?
Yeah I know, what else is he supposed to say.

ESPN understands that Manchester United's bid for Arsenal striker Robin van Persie may have been as low as £12.5 million.

Serious though, we should be winning battles to sign players against teams like Juve, unless ofcourse Arsenal just wont sell to us.

You can not judge anything on this, we put in a low bid + Arsenal will do everything in their power to not sell to us.

What time do we actually play today, I've saw 3 different times.
Anyway, I hope Kagawa starts today and again, hope Powell comes on as a sub, preferably not as late in the game as Kagawa last time.
