Re: Manchester United FC Official Thread
Supposedly we've had a bid of 10 million rejected for Moussa Dembélé, probably bullshit though.

Would be a decent signing

He's an attacking midfielder, right? Doesn't really seem like what you'd need.

Most interceptions in the league last year. Would be a great signing.

Really like Dembele would be a good signing.

Not really, he was more of a centre mid last year, I seen a statistic the other day that he made the most interceptions in the PL last year.

The Glazers should. Taking half the money from it. Hopefully they all drop dead.
Think a lot of fans forget that the Glazers are Fergie's boss..

It's hardly up to them is it? All of it should go to paying off the stupid debt they got us into.
Edit: either way, plenty of it isn't going to the debt. So if it isn't who cares who gets it?

He's unlikely to come out and say "yeah I do benefit from the IPO" though, so who knows.

@DuckerTheTimes
Here's the link to #MUFC IPO roadshow video presentation http://bit.ly/McvWb1 - will post full Times article on it in a bit. Interesting
In video #MUFC COO M. Bolingbroke says they're anticipating a £40m "net expenditure" this summer but that could mean another £40m could still be spent as £15m downpayments on Kagawa and Powell are on course to be offset through sales, loan fees & compensation

This actually worries me more. That basically means that the manager and the coaching staff probably won't see a dime of that money, and instead the "performance bonus" will go to the board members at the club. Half of which consists of Glazer's sons.

We've supposedly still got a £40m budget, more signings are still to happen before the transfer window closes.
Interesting.

Lucas Moura insists that he will make a decision on his future after the olympics, despite Sao Paulo admitting that the only club involved has been Manchester United, and that offer was too low.

For a player of his quality 20M is a bargain, I don't care about his contract.

I would agree, however I think it's more down to his age and injury proneness than his contract.

Football's full of risks. Would you rather see him go to City and end up having no injuries and make the title harder for us? I'd really like to see him here with United.

I would love to see him play with Rooney. Too bad he's 29 though
