I don't know who expected you guys to crash and burn, it was a tough group but England have more quality than all but one team (to me) so I think most people had them coming in second, surprised France lost tonight and the group though.

I don't know who expected you guys to crash and burn, it was a tough group but England have more quality than all but one team (to me) so I think most people had them coming in second, surprised France lost tonight and the group though.

France have looked distinctly average, and at times down right poor, during the entire tournament. I'm not at all surprised that they can't seem to break down defences properly. Benzema's play and movements have been screaming for a striker partner since the England game, and Ribery is still a bit of an asshole on the pitch. I will be quite surprised if they do not get thumped by Spain.

I think he has been great.

Hes too slow on the ball, If you watch the start of the ukraine game he just looks really shit on the ball. and his positioning is not that good, And he is prone to make a mistake.

Just look at the final game of the EPL season he gave a goal to QPR.

Gerrard or Joe Hart, as the ones being outstanding/noticeable .. Walcott was invisible after coming on today against Ukraine and too little time otherwise to warrant it.
