Relax boys, We honestly can't say how good or not good Wilshere is or isn't anyway. Let's wait for him to come back and re-evaluate

Gotze was arguably dortmunds best player in the first half of the season, think he'll be incredibly good next season playing in the center. Wislhere might not even be a starter

There's nothing to suggest Gotze's going to have a brighter future either, Podolski was counted as one of the golden boys of German football, even had a far bigger impact for his club and national team which resulted in their promotion at the age of 19. If you look at Podolski now, he's not the world class footballer who dominates, he's just a very good player now.

Wilshere has been courted as one of London's best talents for years, he's featured in youth tournaments along with Frimpong + Moses (saw them all live) and everyone has rated him for years, similar to Jack Jebb we have now (16 year old playing for our U18's), it was somewhat inevitable

What has Wilshere actually done to become this overrated?

Like 20, but Thiago featured late so he can be excused

The following players are great young talents that are possibly better than Wilshere. I would not consider Wilsher in the top 5. He is in the top 10 though.

Busquets like Wilshere is one of the most intelligent players in this list, that's why they're amongst the elite tbh. I mean Munian is going to be really effective, but you have to ask yourself whether you'd rather have a Xavi/Scholes type playmaker or like an Alexis Sanchez like for like player. That's why El Shaarawy, Munian, Shaqiri etc aren't better

That's not what the argument stemmed from. You said Wilshere was among the 5 best young players in the world. You didn't mention position or role. I'm basing on pure talent, whatever their role is.

Bojan is shit. It's not the support that's at fault. Totti and co. create plenty of chances for him.

You argued that Bojan isn't getting enough support to score, Borini has scored more in about 11 games less which shows the support isn't the problem.

Yes talent wise Wilshere is still better

Also, Gareth Bale. Give me more time and I think of even more talented young players. Wilshere is for sure not in the top 5.

Also Fonesca, you said Thiago is MAYBE better than Wilshere? He is the best player behind Neymar.
