Don't think so. Either Eduardo or Mandžukić is likely to start alongside Jelavić.

Re: EURO 2012 Thread
I don't think the England team is as bad as people are making out. We have a solid defence, a young, energetic midfield mixed with experience and a reasonably good attack. Quite solid all round, imo. Rooney will be an extra boost if we make it past the group stage.

I can see Joe Hart keeping us in a few games though with some excellent saves.ScottyBoy_1989 wrote:I don't think the England team is as bad as people are making out. Yeah, Joe Hart is going to be one of the biggest differences. Our GKs always seem to fuck up, but for some reason, you just can't see that happening with Hart.

Re: EURO 2012 Thread
I think we have every chance if our defence plays as we have done in the last two games. Denmark-esque preformance tomorrow and I'll be more than happy.

Re: EURO 2012 Thread
Same. We should defend deeply and use Ashley Young's pace on the counter attack. Rami and Mexas aren't the best against tall strikers so if we play Caroll up front and pump crosses into him than we should do well.Harrold wrote:I think we have every chance if our defence plays as we have done in the last two games. Looks like they're playing without a striker.

Re: EURO 2012 Thread
Iniesta, Xavi, Silva and Fabregas will probably all just drift about up front wherever they feel like.

Why isn't Lorente playing? I thought he'd do well.

Re: EURO 2012 Thread
That sounds... terrible. But it just might be so confusing to Italy's CBs that it opens up tons of space.

Re: EURO 2012 Thread
Spain would rather play without a striker than use Torres.
What a great moment.

Re: EURO 2012 Thread
They used that in their second qualifier against Scotland. Silva seemed to be the most attacking one.

Re: EURO 2012 Thread
Cesc will probably play as a false 9 then, Barca used that tactic in the start of the season and it worked quite well.

They spent all their money on that awful opening thing with the clay men.
