To be honest, it's gotten to the point where it's cool to hate on Beats headphones.

They probably aren't worth it. Makes you look like a douche if you wear them in public and you can more than likely get better sounding ones for cheaper.

Not sure about the headphones but I have the earphones. Thought they were amazing for a while, but then I noticed the standard white earphones felt better and clearer after a while of using the iBeats. So I wouldn't recommend them, they always slip out too. I think the main reason why I didn't really like then was because I don't listen to much house or rap so they're pretty pointless. Laughing

Well my £2 Technika's from Tesco do the same job, are easier to transport and don't damage my ears. They don't recieve criticism.

    They break every 3 months but 2 x 4 is 8. £8 for headphones a year.

Don't do it, Bent. Save your money.

Well Beats don't damage your ears unless you're stupid, they're not that hard to transport. If you've got a bag put them in the travel case, if not wear them round your neck/listen to them. And despite obviously being overpriced, they're miles better than shitty little earphones like that.

Basically, if you want them, just buy them. All you'll get here is most saying no, and people who have them saying yes.

You are right. I only hate on people with beats because it is cool. Has nothin to do with them being massively overpriced.

I suppose I'd say if you like them as a fashion statement and want good headphones, get them. If you're just after pure quality of sound, I bet you could shop around for better.

I have some in-ear Bose that are decent. They don't stay in my ears though when I go for runs. My standard iPhone headphones do though.

In 2012 anyone can afford to buy a pair of headphones like that if they really want to, most people just see them as a colossal waste of money.

Probably. Just annoys me when people say you only buy them because you think they look cool. If anyone spends that much to look "cool" they're a moron anyway. Laughing

I think some people do just buy them to look cool though. If you offered the average 16 year old who's been saving his McDs wage for a few months the choice of some beats, or some equivalent say Sennheiser headphones with equal sound quality for 70 or 80 quid less I bet 99% would pick the beats.

Yeah they probably would, it's not the sole reason for getting them though. Laughing
