    Ok mfs.. when I plug both ends in fully, the person singing is really really low, but the bass etc sounds fine. When doing this, if I press the button on the end of the wire it seems to sound fine too.

    If I only plug one of the ends in about 3/4s of the way both singing and bass sound fine.

    Anyone know how to get the proper quality without having to press the button or plugging them in halfway or so?

    Have you got the correct plug in the correct end? Try swapping them around
