Charles Dance speech to Tyrion almost made up for them fucking up the Mance/Jon speech

Re: Game of Thrones Thread
Not really a standout moment in the ep other than the Tywin/Tyrion speech, but pretty good nonetheless.
I'm sure I'd die a little if I ever saw Natalie Dormer in real life.

It's 18 million times better in the book, don't know why the showrunners mess with scenes like that tbh

Re: Game of Thrones Thread
I watched the first episode a couple of days ago. I've had some people tell me that the X rated content is necessary for characterization, but the scene with Bronn before meeting Tyrion was simply sex for the sake of it. It spoils what is already a good show.

In fairness, I think that's the only bit of nudity so far.

Haha oh my godddddd. That ending.
Was a righteous episode. For sure.
And hell no. That dragon won't be traded for good.

I felt really bad for him even though I'd disliked him up until this episode. I guess it's fitting, though, after what he did to Brann in the first season.

Re: Game of Thrones Thread
That's the brilliance of it. He shows compassion for the blonde beast so she doesn't get raped. Then that happens to him. My girl and I just laughed and laughed. Since you usually don't see such permanent moments like that..especially with that closing song during credits. Brilliant.

For the most part, I've always found Jaime to be a repulsive piece of shit. Hence the lulz

He's one of the few interesting characters in the later books, so I can forgive his shameless attempted destruction of Brann.

I haven't read any books. But does Jamie become completely worthless now? Or is he still destructive later on.

- Spoiler:
- He doesn't really do much, but he does kill Cersei and Joffrey in an attempt to get on the throne, only for the Maester (of all people ) to stab him in the kidney and send the South into absolute disarray.
