Glen winning the free kick, basically guaranteeing victory. That sums up this stalwart.

Lukaku was behind the ball, wasn't he? Good tackle by Lescott though.

Incredible offsides line held by Lescott and Glen, virtually guaranteeing the win.

Because when he can actually play vs Ukraine, he'll have gone about 5 weeks without a game. Neutral

Well we've seen Carroll and Young combine for the goal last week, Young and Welbeck combine for today's goal (plus they've played together for a season at United)..

Rooney would have gone a long time without a game if he hadn't come on today. Perhaps wouldn't be very sharp vs Ukraine, which could an probably will be a crucial game.

Well it was a Carroll assist. shifty

I don't see how Rooney getting some minutes for the first time since May 13th will affect the partnership between Young and Welbeck/Carroll.

On way home now from this. I thought Belgium looked a very tricky side but lacked that cutring edge in and around the penalty box. That said, credit must go to England for a very disciplined and professional display.

Belgium fans were great i thought. Without them the ground would have been like a graveyard

    Hazard did pretty well tbh.

6 - Eden Hazard created six goalscoring chances today, twice as many as any England player. Introduction.

    Baws.
