Cheltenham vs Crewe|League 2 Play-off Final|27/05/12|3PM KO

Cheltenham team news: Luke Garbutt is set to return from injury after missing both matches vs Torquay, this gives Mark Yates a full squad available for the final.

Crewe team news: Captin David Artell and midfielder Luke Murphy will be available for selection giving Steve Davis a full squad for selection.

Not sure who I want to win this, I've never been to both grounds so I'm 50-50 really on who wins.

Main players to look out for are; Jombati (rb), Marlon Pack (cm), Luke Summefield (cm) Mohamed (lw) and McGlashan (rw) for Cheltenham.

For Crewe, Ashley Westwood, Powell and Leitch Smith.

I think most people see Crewe as favorites, however we have succesful play off pedigree in Burgess, Jombati and Mohamed in our first 11, and also in Mark Yates, Neil Howarth and Steve Book who won the play offs as a player with Cheltenham.

But of course on the day these stats count for nothing. Its all about who wants it the most, and for which either side is going to win. They will need those key players i listed above to perform on the day

Would like Cheltenham to win for the lad above but also wouldn't mind Crewe due to them being northern.

So hopefully it is an entertaining match.

Crewe have the form going into this one, but I can see Cheltenham pulling of yet another play-off success. On paper Cheltenham have a stronger squad. McGlashan will have a field day down the right.

For purely selfish reasons I'd like to see Crewe win. Cheltenham are considered as a rival, and despite them being a fantastic side this season, I cannot see them lift that trophy. Visiting Whaddon Road this season was one of the best atmospheres I've experienced as a Bristol Rovers fan, the whole game was fantastic. I enjoyed the ground too. Crewe also gave us a whipping, and I don't want to have to see that again!

Marlon Pack has the ability to run games, if he has a good game than I think you'll go up.

Our youth team is playing today before the game, against Macclesfield for the kids cup final.

The game went to penalties, right down to the keepers... and we won!

You dont realise how much a play off final defeat hu rts until it happens to your team. Absolutely gutting feeling.

I hope our lads will be in for shooting pratice this summer. Once again we have created more chances then our opposition and wasted every single one of them. The amount of times we skies the ball fron 6 yarda out is not good enough for a proffessional footballer. That was the deciding factor between us and Crewe. We are even in terms of ability all over the pitch, bar thr final third. If we had a decent forward we'd have won automatic promotion.

Sadly our main players in Pack, Mohamed, Jombati, and Summers didnt perform. In the end McGlashan was the only player who looked like making something happen for us.

Well done to Crewe. Always like the club and their playing style. What a fucking goal by Powell as well. Shame that Gouldings hit the fucking bar.

Going to enjoy the summer now. had enough of the stress of supporting chelt, and im surr my enthusiasm will return back in august.
Fucking pain in the arse the amount of northern and far southern teams for next season. Lost 2 local derbies in hereford and swindon as well.
