Martin Allen said he's just as good as Butland so reckons he should go for the same price.

Southampton are apparently 1 of 3 Premiership clubs after Gills keeper Gazzaniga. I hope they loan him back, he's too talented not to play.

He'll be 2nd choice, we only have Kelvin Davis and Tommy Forecast.Walcott wrote:Southampton are apparently 1 of 3 Premiership clubs after Gills keeper Gazzaniga. I hope they loan him back, he's too talented not to play.

The latter was described by Grimsby fans as 'the worst goalkeeper they'd ever seen'.
I think he'll be involved.

He's still slightly shaky. Prefers to punch than catch, but he will be a good keeper. Got great distribution too, got 2 or 3 assists this season.
All the best to him, I still hope you loan him back to Gillingham for 1 more season

Re: npower Football League Thread 2012/13
We have a mystery trialist. Someone described him on the Bristol Rovers forum. General consensus is it's Daryl Russell. But I highly doubt that if we've already signed Clucas, Norburn and with Lund's loan almost complete.
His description: "Player seen at training yesterday, source told me he'd been informed the player was a trialist, said he had dark hair, dark skin, about 5'8, and was being called 'russ'. 100% genuine info. I'll have a look around lists of free agents and transfer listed players, presume his first or surname is Russell"
Ignore the Russ/Russell thing. Could have been misheard. Can anyone think of players who fit that description without a club.

I honestly cannot seeing him coming back here. He was shit last time and plus when we played and beat Chesterfield away 4-1, We were signing to him "Takes it up the arse, up the arse, Ajose takes it up the arse, na na na na na na, up the arse, up the arse, ajose takes it up the arse!"
Knill is trying to spite us with signing players we want and he didn't even work at your club.
Nice to see you are using chants we sing though to do with your club.

We sang that chant before we had even played you, we sang it to Nikki Bull at Wycombe on the first day of the season.ShakerMatty wrote:Trent wrote:Neil Warnock is a legend Scunny born and bred.

The trialist is said to be Curtis Weston. Makes more sense. He can play on the right and in the center. But it's all speculation.

I accept your right to your own opinion, but I do think that Neil Warnock is a top manager at this level. But I accept that he still has a point to prove in the Premier League, should he get Leeds there.

I have Neil Warnock's temper sometimes, so I can relate to him quite well. Okay, I be calm and encouraging with the kids though, because that's the only way they'll learn and enjoy the game. But see in the stands, or when watching a game at home, I can really get into games sometimes.

A better club.. I see..
The table from last season doesn't lie and Boxing Day proved who was the 'better' club.
Thank you and good night from the two time FA Cup winners.

Yes but we were in the Championship for many years.. If you look at your history compared to ours most of Scunthorpe's time was spent in the bottom tier.
Another thank you and good night from the highest ever FA Cup final winners.

We also went the whole of that FA Cup without conceding a single goal.
Did you know we also had a world famous market? That's right a world famous market!!!!

Ah, I thought you meant like you'd won it the most times lol.
By the way, this thread gets a lot of activity. More activity than Scottish Football, we should have our own sub-section!
