Can't wait for the play offs next Sunday. 5 club wembley tickets on the half way line have been dispatched to me.

Some weird stats that play in our favour.

    - Every third season in league 2 we have been promoted through the play offs; 1999(0)-2001(2), 2003(4)-2005(6), 2009(0)-2011(12)?
    - 2005/2006 season. We lost to Grimsby 1-0 in both game of the domestic season, before beating them 1-0 in the final. This year we have lost 1-0 to Crewe in both games. Maybe a repeat in the final?
    - We have never lost a play off game; played 8 won 6, drawn 2.
    - 10 years ago, Mark Yates was captain of the side that won promotion to league one.
    - 2001/2002 season, we faced Plymouth on the last day of the season. We did the same this season.

Of course this means for nothing on the day Smile.

Powell plays in an attacking midfield role. I haven't seen much of him but the Crewe fans state he's the best player to ever come from their academy. Sounds promising seeing the likes of Danny Murphy and Dean Ashton came from their academy.

Hopefully his mind will be elsewhere next sunday Wink.

So another guy in a 10 role? Neutral Well he's still 18 so I imagine he's only going to play in our reserves. Cheers guys.

For his sake, hopefully will loan him to a Championship club rather than have him in the reserves until he's 21. Ipswich offered £2 million for him about six months back so i'm sure there are many clubs at that level who would have him. Wouldn't mind him at Cheltenham to be honest. We're good at nurturing future stars like Jack Butland and Luke Garbutt Wink
