Not far off, though. A team with ten men, missing both their starting best CB's, comes back from 2-0 down to defeat arguably the best team to ever play football. And Torres scores.

    Not far off at all.

I was throughly entertained today, if they manage to win the final, playing unattractive football and all, that is going to be incredible.

Fabregas is pretty boss in tight areas, should have kept him on.

Why doesn't Pedro play these days?

He's signed a pre-contract with Liverpool, and he can't play too often as part of the agreement.

Fabs is the man, just wanted a dig at Barca.

I'm wondering the same about Pedro, I prefer him to Sanchez. He's the most underrated player, gets 20+ goals b2b years and barely plays at all this season???? How's that worked out Barca?

Sanchez is way better than Pedro.

But I would choose him over Cuenca, Pedro has more experience and did well in other big games.

Way better? No. I'd honestly take Pedro over him, does more for the team and is a goal machine.

I agree. Pedro should have played more matches this season. But Sanchez is a better player. With Villa out, we need someone who is clinical in front of goal and Sanchez is better than Pedro in that departement. Sanchez has the finishing, Pedro has the width and assisting.

I highly disagree. I think Pedro is the better finisher, I remember when he was just scoring goals left and right when barca played 'mvp'.

Sanchez is the better dribbler and better and making defense commit and creating chance for others.

Which is what a "striker" is supposed to do. Pedro is better at providing width. Most of Pedro's goals were tap-ins it seems. He is a great player and I like him more than Sanchez, but I don't think he is a better finisher than Sanchez.

Question: Who starts the final; Torres or Drogba?

I would expect Torres to at least start v QPR.

    Not necessarily.

Pedro scored very good goals, he always took on defenders and scored with either his left or right. Sanchez is very good too, but he don't fit Barca to me. He needs a team where he can play a bigger role and "always" take on defenders (Messi role).

Barca is more effective with the 'mvp' imo, Messi is good through the middle...but I just think when Villa was the actual striker they where more deadly. (Stats might prove otherwise)

Totally agree. Sanchez doesn't fit barca's style at all. More of a Ronaldo-type player. See him more at a club like Real. Same with Neymar. Barca is destroying its core by buying these players. They are replacing teamwork and good passing ability with selfish stars who care more about how many goals and assists they get in one season than if the team as a whole win.

Don't know what Barca were thinking buying Sanchez and Neymar. With these players, Barca will have a good future, but you can forget about attractive tiki-taka football.
