Maybe you should read more about what happened at Hillsborough, and think about if it had been fans of the club you followed. And if it was people from your own family that had been killed at Hillsborough and then the rubbish spouded abouth them, and then people changing their stories about what they had said and the cover up which followed.

But you also conveniently miss out the Liverpool fans drinking alcohol (something that should be banned on football days anyway), fans travelling without tickets and fans putting pressure on the police. All of this contributed no matter what little twist you want to put on it.

Never asked anyone to and if there was a service or something for all the other disaster i would happily back the club and the fans when they did it. But ignoring ‘one of the biggest injustices of the 20th century’ is very small minded.

This guy was a solid striker and had a real future in the game, I just do not get this at all.

Sorry but no, it shouldn't be down for us to ignore it. That implies that it is been put in our way. It should be up to us to respect it, I don't mind 1 year after the incident paying my respects... But all of the years later having to do it or getting chucked out of a stadium is ridiculous and pathetic.

We are not given the choice without punishment, we are forced to do it.

I don't agree with there being a minutes silence for something on Sunday that was nothing to do with the two teams involved course i don't condone the small section of Chelsea fans abusing it but thats another story.

Why was Hillsborough brought up in a thread nothing to do with it anyway? This is a thread about a rapist at a League 1 club..
