Its the jail sentence thats suspended I think.

He's not been suspended from football you fucking plank! His jail sentence is suspended, meaning that if he commits another crime in the next year he may be sent to jail for 8 weeks.

I've noticed.

Just saw this

He obviously misunderstood Pulis' request for the team to pick up more points on the road

Perhaps the judge reduced his sentence because he showed sufficient Pennantce.
