The game will finish around 7:50, losing fans leave first hop on tube etc, not everyone can get on the same tube. People probably wont get to their area for at least an hour, then they have dinner to organise.
The winning fans will be in the stadium for a little bit longer and wont get home until 10ish.
I know this even with my limited knowledge of the city, I've been to a full Wembley and it takes ages to get out.
All of that is what makes an away day, being on a packed out train station with a few hundred other supporters all cheery and chanting. Shouldn't let it stop em.
The F.A should organise free buses from the stadium into the town centre, I remember when I went Twickenham there was a shit load of free buses, just add a a couple of quid to the ticket prices. (if they don't already do that)
