Same city, not like there's fuck all else to do on a Sunday. Considering the event I was expecting it to be a sellout. Also both teams have no problem selling their home stadium out on a weeknight. Ticket allocation would be roughly the same, if not less for Chelsea.
Doesn't matter that it's the same city. If you've been to Wembley you'll know it isn't exactly quick getting out of that area when there is 85000+ other people leaving with you. The game will finish around 7:50, losing fans leave first hop on tube etc, not everyone can get on the same tube. People probably wont get to their area for at least an hour, then they have dinner to organise.
The winning fans will be in the stadium for a little bit longer and wont get home until 10ish.
I know this even with my limited knowledge of the city, I've been to a full Wembley and it takes ages to get out.
1) Leave stadium
2) Go to a fast-food restaurant
3) Get short tube/bus/walk journey home.

Lol James, I'm sure fans would sacrifice a good meal at home and an early night for a chance to watch their team play at Wembley in the FA Cup semi final.

My friend who's at the game just texted me saying the Chelsea fans were chanting "murderers" at the police during the minute silence.

1) As I said, it isn't as quick as just leaving the stadium. That stupid long walk is long with everyone else.
2) Not everyone likes fast food and these'll be packed as well.
3) Still takes time.
My point still stands that 6pm on a Sunday is stupid.

Because the other 75,000+ fans wouldn't have had this idea.

It's Sunday aswell James, surely most would have had a roast dinner at like 1/2 before setting off?

All of that is what makes an away day, being on a packed out train station with a few hundred other supporters all cheery and chanting. Shouldn't let it stop em.
The F.A should organise free buses from the stadium into the town centre, I remember when I went Twickenham there was a shit load of free buses, just add a a couple of quid to the ticket prices. (if they don't already do that)

We took 50,000 to the JPT final, Chelsea should sell out their allocation.

Disagree. It's Sunday, start of the working week for most tomorrow. A lot of people have important/performance based jobs where they wont risk ruining routines.
Do you realise how many people buy season tickets and don't actually go to night games?

I understand what away days are about... I'm not complaining about train stations behind packed. I'm complaining about a ridiculous weekend kick off time.

Actually agree with the last sentence, I've been to Old Trafford for free a few times thanks to this

No idea, not that expensive I imagine. It only gets expensive for the people who don't go to games usually and have to use touts.

Re: Chelsea v Spurs Fa Cup Semi
The most expensive ticket to watch the Wembley showpiece on 14 May will now be £115, compared to £95 last year.
Other tickets will be available at £85 and £65 with the cheapest at £45 - which is £5 higher than last term.
That was 2011's FA Cup final.

Barcas sold out which is even later and on Wednesday.
Edit: Why am I even arguing with you? Didn't you make like a hundred long ass threads saying you as leaving?

It's funny because most of our sporting events in North America start from anywhere from 7-9 PM local time.
With that said usually our soccer/football games are usually around noon-3.

Spurs v Liverpool would be a better final, Chelsea would get beat by Liverpool and do shit.
