I believe a Barcelona without Messi would still be better than a Real Madrid without Ronaldo. Now the question of which is more important to their respective teams is a tough one. Messi has been involved in more goals for Barca this season than Ronaldo has for Madrid. But I don't have the statistic on how many important goals Messi and Ronaldo have been involved in for their teams.

Personally I would say Ronaldo only because I think that Barca would still have the best team/squad in the world without him.
However, Messi is amazing and he creates or has a part in most of the goals Barca score.
