That's probably what Viva's getting at in a roundabout way.

What does his impact have to with his qualities as a footballer though? The two aren't really related.

i dont give a fuck what "type" of player he is(just cause he is described as a creative player doesnt make him creative), he hasnt been creative at all

Toure, Barry and milner offer asmuch creativity (which isnt much). De Jong is a totally different player that needs to be there to do a different job so dont know why you mentioned him. also creativity doesnt have to be through passing, Yaya is hugely creative with his runs with the ball, can make goals and score them through it

One of the most cultured midfielders of the last decade has the same level of creativity of a midfield engine, and two run-of-the-mill box-to-box midfielders. Laughing What's even more laughable is that you've come to this conclusion from 228 minutes of playing time (roughly 2 and a half games).

Running with the ball is not creativity. Anyone random midfielder can run with the ball. Toure does it better than most due to his physique and talent. Scoring is not creativity. Most creative midfielders are hardly prolific goal scorers. Toure is an inventive creator of goals? Could have fooled me.

Creativity is what David Silva does. Intelligent use of the ball, picking passes that most other players can't, having an awareness of space that sets him apart. Pizarro has shown all of that during his career. A season where he has hardly been playing for either Roma or Man City doesn't suddenly make all of that void.

Pizarro has hardly been at his best, but he has shown in flashes what he's capable of in the little time that he has been given. He's the closest thing to Silva that City has in its squad. Unless you'd put forward Toure as Silva's replacement since he's so creative?

creativity = doing something different to the norm, trying something unique without the fear of it not working

Yaya's ability to run through players and teams to score or assist IS creativity. he created something out of nothing, out of a situation where 90% of the time no one would have done anything. creativity is not about assists only. what ronaldo does is creative, doing step overs and beating a man is creative. those things allow you to score, you dont only score by making passes that other players may not see lmao

what you are talking about is more a playmaker
