Definitely would rather have him than Crouch.

Walker slipped my mind, him instead of Glen.
Lennon was on purpose, deal with it.

Re: Grant Holt for England?
I'd take Stockdale as the third choice keeper behind Ruddy and Hart.

I'd take Rooney, Sturridge and Welbeck. Other than them 3... i really don't know, it gets a bit average from there.

Swear I read a City fan say he's been shit when he has played too.
He's decent imo, good sub.
On topic, I don't think England should take Holt, Rooney, Welbeck, Sturridge and Defoe is what I would take. Rooney is Rooney, Welbeck has good link-up-play, Sturridge is versatile and Defoe is a great goalscorer.
Would be a nice touch for Holt but he won't really help England.

Fuck off, he's ours.Drake wrote:Anyone think Hoilett would have a chance?
But srs he does have the option to play for England or Jamaica (I think) still.

No I don't think Holt should be on the plane. If I was the England boss I'd take Rooney, Welbeck, Walcott and Crouch. Rooney is arguably England's best player, Welbeck is one of the country's brightest young stars, Walcott has lots to prove since being left out of the World Cup squad and Crouch's remarkable scoring record for England speaks for itself.

Rooney, Sturridge, Welbeck and Danny Graham/Crouch/Grant Holt/Defoe/Bent.

Does Adam Johnson even play for Man City that often? He really needs to move if he wants to break into the England team on a regular basis.

Walcott is used as winger for England, they wouldn't take him as a striker.

Re: Grant Holt for England?
Yes.
I would take:
Wayne Rooney - Best Player.
Danny Welbeck - United have created a good partnership between him and Rooney. Would be great to see this work for England.
Peter Crouch - Maybe a bit biased because I love him, but he is a proven goal-scorer for the national side.
Grant Holt or Daniel Sturridge - Not sure whether Daniel is a striker any more, however I would like to see Grant in the team. He has had a great season.
