It's actually okay until you get to strikers.

Pretty sure he did. He also said he would play for England if they called him up IIRC.

Fixed.

And it's not like he's even very good, the only reason foreigners should take up a native's spot is if he's clearly better than any other player you have in that position.

I dunno, they're a flair player factory belt no doubt, but those countries don't seem to produce as many good defensive players or GKs. Or am I just totally wrong and the GKs are up to the standard of the rest of the players?
Don't even know who those guys are.Zzonked wrote:Hart

I did think about the export thing.Rei Andros wrote:Bringing out stereotypes Zzonked.
All the goalkeeper's in Brazil's top flight and I would guess most in the 2nd division are Brazilian. I would say the same for 90% of Argentina as a guess.
The only player Brazil really doesn't have and has to import is that foot-on-the-ball Riquelme-esque playmaker (Conca, Petkovic, Montillo, Bertoglio etc.). Ganso is the only Brazilian player who plays like that.
It's a mixture of factors, Che. Brazil produces a lot of good players, but with the high number of players leaving, the talent pool in the country if still deep, but not deeper than that is all the other leagues. If you can bring in a foreigner who will make your team better than it's just a sound choice to make.
Anyway, it doesn't matter much right now since there can only be a maximum of 3 foreign players on your squad.
I also think the scouting in the country tends to be a bit insular. That's just my impression though. I look at a player like Jobson who went off to play in South Korea, and came back to Brazil as a total unknown. He single-handedly kept Botafogo up.
He'd already be a star in Europe if it wasn't for his drug problems.

Oh and Montoya > Bartra > Barta at RB.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Catalan_peopleThe Catalans or Catalonians are the people from, or with origins in, Catalonia that form a historical nationality in Spain.
