I don't think I should, I already have Zouma and Boly, with Mignot and Marchal as the veteran back up centre backs, if anything I'll be looking for a regen CB in the coming years, I have on on my radar but Monaco aren't going to give him up without a fight.

Kakuta seems like a fucking amazing loan signing, I have the option to buy too, I just hope he doesn't want too high wages

Brought in Rivaldo and Guti on free transfers, Also brought in Owen for 900k and Yaya Sanogo for 3mil.

Willy Boly

Scored his first goal for me, away to Lorient, absolute beast of a centre half.

I'm loving my summer signings, they just added so much pace and creativity to the team, Kakuta is fucking amazing, I'll try and get him at the end of the season on a permanent deal, maybe earlier if he really starts playing well so he doesn't ask for too much wages, Brahimi is so good as a AMC, even though his passing isnt' that high, his dribbling and the fact he has the plays 1-2s PPM make him a great player to link up play. Souquet seems much better than I first anticipated, he might actually have a future at the club.

All I need now is to get the 18 year old Santiago I signed from Marseille to play some League Cup games and some pointless games in the league, I'll see how he develops, he'd be a squad player at best I think but I might be able to make a nice profit on the player I got on a free in the future.

so basically, there's always 2-3 players better in every position against Italy. the only good Italian player in FM is Giuseppe Rossi and that's only because he doesn't play in Serie A. IRL he's on par with the likes of Borini and Matri

Just started a new game in Feb 2012 with Crewe......some of their youth at the start of the game (not real players) are insane

i tried something entirely new this time, i used a formation that i haven't prepared before in match preparation. reason being, Dani Alves is back so i couldn't use the formation i used in the reverse fixture


i played fluid/disciplined/counter. Lamela, Son, and Bovo were all played out of position intentionally. i wanted a centerback to manmark Messi, and I wanted two inverted wingers to cut in and shoot. but most importantly i set my two wingbacks to ultra attacking since Barcelona don't play with any wingers. i even set my playmaker as my leftback and told my team to "Look for the Overlap". and sure enough, all 3 assists came from my wingbacks

once again, Barca completed about 3x as many passes than me, but in this match, having possession in the right places was more important

They beat me 4-2 AET.

I lost my last game 2-0, but Rotherham lost theirs 4-0 in the 90th minute .

So I win promotion to league one on goals scored

season 2 - conceded 15 league goals
end of season 2 transfer window - sold Stekelenburg, promoted Branescu
season 3 - conceded 34 league goals SO FAR and it's only in February
